Wasu lives in Thailand, and the place he visits for birds the most frequently is the Kaengkrachan National Park. His favorite birds are the kingfishers, because of how good they are at catching fish. Wasu's favorite place for bird photography in Thailand is for sure the Srinagarindra Dam, in Kanchanaburi.

Achievements

Over the years, Wasu has had many great achievements, one example being winning the Crikey Magazine Photography Competition  by the Australia Zoo, both in 2022 and in 2023. The photo in 2022 was a Scarlet-backed Flowerpecker taken with one of his first DSLRs, the Nikon D7200. The photo in 2023, though, was a photo of a Blue-throated Bee-eater taking a bath in a pond in Ratchaburi. These photographs were exhibited at the Whale Mall in Queensland and also at Australia Zoo.
